Self Portrait of Nathan as a Messy Army Child

Look at the intensity.  The concern.  What is it the artist fears from the camera & his own finger?  Perhaps, as Socrate's poet, he is "inspired and out of his mind," his hand moving of its own accord, and only the eyes remain of the child trapped within.
Okay, maybe not.  But it is an intense looking picture.  Here's another:

Okay, tell me that's not a cute kid

Halloween pics & that's all. So much for my Pulitzer.

So, I sat down to write a witty blog post to accompany the Halloween pics of the kids (per Kenzie's request)--something I hoped would make you smile and not just at the adorable kids.  Then Ivy woke up.  And wanted to eat.  Now.  Then Katie woke up.  And wanted juice.  Now.

They both got H1N1 and seasonal flu shots this morning.  Hence the pampering.  I'm not normally a drop-of-the-hat juice purveyor.  It's not my parenting style.  Nathan will be home from school very shortly & I will go outside to meet him.  So you're just getting pics.  No further commentary.  Hopefully that's enough for at least a little grin.  They are cute kids.

Super Nathan!
