What I learned tonight

  • If your chili isn't thick enough, it still makes a very yummy soup.
  • It's easier to do the Charleston when you're not holding 27 pounds in toddler weight.
  • One toddler/infant might cry a minute then learn to fall asleep, but two in the same room only fuel the fire.
  • Even removing one from the room doesn't solve the situation because there's the reintroduction problem.
  • Katie-laina's a very light sleeper.
  • Nathan's prepared to climb into the crib to help Katie stop crying.
  • He's also prepared to climb into the crib to get her going again--and to make Dad open the door.
  • If you hum long enough you learn what your glottis feels like.

Only you and your husband would use the word glottis. Nighttime and sharing rooms is one of the biggest challenges when they're little. They'll figure it soon.
